About Dr. Li
Dr. Li is certified in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Prior to coming to the United States, she was an associate professor at Shanxi University of TCM. She spent her career over 20 years practicing acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine at the biggest TCM hospital in Shanxi Province. She also worked as an acupuncturist at M Clinic in Charlottesville for three years. She specializes in using acupuncture and Chinese medicine to treat various pain, stress, immune system disorders, and digestive system disorders. Dr. Li also has extensive experience with alternative and holistic cancer treatment. She helps patients improve health naturally.
In her career, Dr. Li also had been a TCM gynecologist for 19 years. Gynecology in Chinese medicine is a sophisticated specialty. She was trained in both Chinese medicine and western gynecology. She specializes in treating female infertility, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrheal, amenorrhea, premenstrual syndrome, menopausal symptoms, and assisting in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intrauterine insemination (IUI) and so on.
Dr. Li will set up a comprehensive treatment plan for you which may include acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, Chinese medicine, and physical therapy to achieve the optimal results.
